How Fairwell Works

A funeral broker on your side of the table. We hold the price data for 61 Atlanta-metro funeral homes, shortlist the ones that fit, and negotiate partner rates below their walk-in price. Free for families.

1. Tell us what you need. Direct cremation, a traditional service, a specific neighborhood, faith tradition, or budget. One short call or message.
2. We shortlist and verify. From our database of published General Price Lists, we pick the 2–3 providers that genuinely fit — then confirm current pricing and availability by phone, same day.
3. We negotiate. Partner funeral homes extend Fairwell rates below their listed GPL prices in exchange for referral volume. You see list price and your price, side by side.
4. You decide, they serve. The contract stays between you and the funeral home, exactly as the FTC Funeral Rule intends. We stay available through the service.

The 10% referral discount

Grief moves through communities — churches, neighborhoods, group chats. When a family you've referred comes to us, they receive an additional 10% off Fairwell partner rates. There's nothing to sign up for: they mention your name, we apply it.

Why funeral homes work with us

A funeral home's costs are mostly fixed. An additional family at a modestly discounted rate is highly profitable for them — and we deliver those families at zero marketing cost. We only partner with licensed providers whose service records hold up, and our shortlists always show you the whole market, including homes that pay us nothing.

What we're not
